hell no bro. I am typing this august 22nd in 2024 and if I edit this someday It might mean that I dropped out. I started High School on the 15th and just a few days in and I hate it. No kind people here, only a bunch of emo kids, wannabe gangsters and f*ck boys. I know nobody except my best friend who I never get to meet anyway because we different classes so we dont even have lunch at the same time or anything, so I basically know nobody and everything is just so bad for me. Idk what to do with my life, I never thought I would miss 8th-10th grade in normal school this much. The only reason I even sent an application for a high school in the first place is because I felt like I had to try it and then whatever happens later, happens. I am considering dropping out and getting a job because I know a place I have worked at before just without pay but I rlly wanna drop out and work there with pay and then figure it all out later. When I came home today I just jumped into my bed and screamed into my pillow I am so frustrated cus I have been saying to my parents "Oh it's cool, high school is cool!" but in reality I really hate it here. My older brother dropped out of normal school in 8th grade and didn't finish anything else because he has a lot diseases and stuff so it was hard for him to meet up at the school and it became less often by time and eventually he dropped out. I just dont know anymore I hate everything in my life now

We lived in this town and my brother and sister went to school there. Next few weeks they started acting weird and saying that they knew about (yk) so.. I don't know.. (edit: I found out it was a few months before we moved there so no nothing happened!)

I’m a high school dropout, and I had some pretty legitimate reasons for making that decision. First off, I had some pretty serious mental issues going on, which partly caused my truancy, so even if I did finish the school year, I probably would’ve been held back, therefore the GED seemed like a better option. Secondly, I had no friends, and I was always an outcast, so my school days were very boring. Lastly, I just felt like the GED would be easier to me; it’s only 4 tests, how hard can it be? Thankfully, I got my GED almost a year and a half after I dropped out, so that wasn’t the end of my education. I may be a high school dropout, but I can proudly say that I got my GED. My scores weren’t perfect, but they were high enough for me to graduate. I somehow even managed to pass every test on the first try, despite the fact that I didn’t study as much as I should’ve, especially with Math and RLA, which were my most difficult subjects.
